8th Jan2011,Mandi Village New Delhi ;Young members( boys and girls)of ITYF Nada Radio clubs members of Mandi Village in South Delhi supported Sachin Tendulakar for refusing to endorse liquor and setting an example for others to follow. On the occasion of the National Youth Day ,12th Jan,2011, Monica Murli Menona,a soft Tennis player and represented India in Asian games 2010 was also present during the discussion. Monica Menon is a brand ambassador of Pehchaan (Pehchaan is a Hindi word means Identity) Campaign for empowering drug & Alcohol free Young India. She appealed the young people to promote alcohol free environment and every one has a right to refuse to drink alcohol beverages, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Nada India is a member of IOGT International and Indian Temperance Youth Federation (ITYF).
MONICA has been playing Lawn Tennis for the last 7 years and she has achieved and won so many championships in under 12, under 16 and Under 18 in tournament circuits. She was ranking 1st position in Delhi State under 12 and 16 and ranked 8 under 18. She took entry in Soft Tennis in the year 2008.Soft Tennis is more popular in Japan and European countries. This is the first time Soft Tennis Team took entry in Asian Games from India .
