The main objective of the program was to establish a relationship with the people of slum and construction workers (the migrant population) in NCR Delhi and to involve them in the fight against HIV and to educate them about preventive measures. Nada India is setting up in collaboration with Indian Temperance Youth Federation (ITYF). Pehchaan, ITYF (Radio Clubs among the young population of slums and urban villages of Delhi & NCR. The Nukar Natak (Street Theater) were performed in different locations in the slums during the evening when the maximum crowds gather. The youth coordinators of Nada India - Vaibhav Nahar and Deepak Singh Manjila answered to the queries of the residents and construction workers related to AIDS& HIV. Women and adolescents did not shy away from the event and were upfront and participative throughout the program. This was a platform for the people to speak out about the various misconceptions they had about the deadly virus and its relation with alcohol which were promptly cleared out in the program. The condoms were also distributed through local volunteers.
